Triglyceride Glucose Index is an excellent insulin sensitivity marker. Results at or below 8.3 are optimal. Risk rises above 8.3, and is considered substantially elevated above 8.8. Lowering your blood sugar (glucose), and triglycerides will help reduce TyG Index.
Remnant Cholesterol is simply Total Cholesterol minus LDL minus HDL. Lower is better. A good RC is below 19, and 6-10 is optimal. Risks rise substantially above 24, and a level above 39 raises risks further. To calculate: RC= TC - LDL- HDL.
Be sure to choose the correct units. In the US, the primary units are mg/dl. The optimal level for AIP is less than 0.11. This index may be a negative number. For AIP, a lower value is better. In order to improve AIP, you may work to lower your Triglycerides level, and raise your HDL Cholesterol level.
